Scholarship — 2007 Annual Dinner
The Chicana Latina Foundation celebrated its 30 year anniversary in style! Held at the historic Palace Hotel of San Francisco on October 26, 2007, 650 guests attended the sold-out event. Here are the highlights:
- Senate Majority Leader Gloria Romero presented a special proclamation.
- Christine Chavez received the Emerging Leader Award.
- Dr. Olga Terrazas, CLF founder, was honored with the Legacy Award.
- Thirty Latina college students received scholarships of $1500 each.
